One Dream

Intentionally Living the Dream

I have spent the last week considering the practice of "intentionally living" and process of "living the dream." As I play with these ideas, I have intentionally thought about each of you who I have "invited" to share in this experimental project with me. I know this is an odd undertaking, and I'm sure you think I'm odd as well, but that's okay. This project and this group of people is important to me. So I'm willing to make this little bet in hopes that there will be a positive payoff in your lives and in mine.

Building the "Dream" Team

For this project, I've digitally assembled a dream team and you are part of that team. Congratulations! Or my apologies! The reason I drafted you is because I value you and I value your thoughts. This is an amazing cast and I'm excited to share with you in this process. So now that I have you all gathered together, albeit in different times and locations, I have a request.

One Dream

To help me move forward in this project, I would love for each of you to share one of your dreams with me. And it can't be "that Thom will leave me alone." What is one thing you dream or think about? Something you are currently pursuing or would like to pursue. One thing requiring attention and intention. I'm curious to know one thing that would bring you a step closer to living your dream life.

Right now, I have several ideas of how to proceed with this project, but first I really would like to have a glimpse of where you are. I can assure you that I won't share anything you share with me, but I would like to have your thoughts in mind as I more fully develop this writing project. Even in its infancy, this project to be a meaningful experience for me. I want it to be meaningful for you as well.

Feedback and Input

The feedback I've been getting from you all is absolutely amazing! As I've said before, my personal mission is to love, enjoy, inspire, encourage, and positively impact those within my circle of influence. I have certainly loved and enjoyed the feedback I've been getting and I want to keep it coming. As I look around at each of you on this team and in my circle of influence, I can assure you that I have been inspired, encouraged, and positively impacted by each and every one of you. And I thank you for that!
