Beginning of the End
Let’s Begin the End
We are now three weeks (21 minutes) into this twenty-eight day experiment. We have almost reached the end of the beginning. If you’re playing along in this experiment, we have one more week to go. Seven more minutes. What should we do with our seven minutes this week? I think we should use this time to play and see what happens. Let's go to the playground.
It’s Time for Recess
I love seeing kids burst onto a playground for recess There is a building anticipation then a moment of pure joy as the kids embrace of the mystery and excitement of the moment. Let’s try that this week. We don’t know what’s going to happen, but let’s allow ourselves the freedom to play and try things out. This is the end of the beginning. We’re starting the last seven days of this experiment. We don’t know what’s going to happen exactly, but let’s embrace a little fearless play and be excited to try or continue something new. Recess time, here we come!
Next Week
After my week on the playground, I plan to share my project. My personal twenty-eight day experiment. And there’s a surprise I plan to share as well, because this has actually gone better than I had hoped. I'm sure it's much more exciting for me than it will be for you, but I’m amazed at what I’ve been able to do in just twenty-one minutes. I'm hoping you will make some great gains this week as well as you enjoy time on the playground.
The End of the Beginning
As we close out the last week of this experiment, I think about how we’re continually in the process of ending and beginning. We create closure and welcome our next steps. Maybe the experiment doesn’t go as well as planned. Or maybe it’s better than we could have imagined. Either way, we can use our experiences to build on and start again fresh. Let’s embrace these last seven minutes. Let’s play and experiment. Then we can start it all over again. Keep it going or change it up. Have some fun with your project. Enjoy the experiment. Welcome to the end. We need it to begin again.
Have an awesome day!
