Thank you to BC Law Enforcement and First Responders!

I just wanted to take a moment to recognize our local law enforcement and first responders. We are so blessed to live in a community with such remarkable public servants. Around the clock, we have men and women watching over the people of Brown County keeping us safe. These amazing people are ready to serve at a moment’s notice and willing to put themselves in harm's way to assist and protect our citizens in emergencies and in times of need. They are a presence of good, and I am continually amazed at the bravery and humility of these public servants.

For over a year, Dean Keefauver and I have served as Co-Chaplains for the BC Sheriff’s Office, and we regularly talk about how blessed we are to have such genuinely caring people serving our community. As we get to know these men and women better, we are continually amazed at their hearts for people and their relentless drive to serve. Our law enforcement and first responders are dads, moms, brothers, sisters, sons, daughters, friends, and neighbors who do important work every day and truly love this community. I know there are communities that have concerns about their law enforcement and first responders which makes me all the more grateful that I know our men and women genuinely care deeply for all of our residents.

I just wanted to say thank you to these men and women. I also want to say thank you to those of you who support our local law enforcement and first responders. Know that these are good people doing good work. Please pray for them and their families. And please pray for peace and compassion. As a life-long Brown County resident, I am grateful to live in this community. Thank you all and God bless!

Grace and Peace.
